Martin joined Two Rivers Media board as of January 2026. As Chief Commercial Affairs Officer, Martin is responsible for Channel 4’s Production Finance, Business Affairs, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Legal & Governance, and Creative Investment Fund teams, comprising some 100 staff made up of lawyers, production finance managers, rights administrators and other support staff. These departments handle all deal making, contracting and financial management of all original productions commissioned from Independent Producers. The Legal & Compliance teams are responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance of the full range of Channel 4’s publishing of content, both commissioned and acquired, across our broadcast and digital platforms.

As Managing Director, Paralympics, Martin is also responsible for the co-ordination of Channel 4’s activities in its role as the UK’s Paralympic Broadcaster.

Prior to joining Channel 4 he was Senior Vice President, Production and Distribution Operations, IMG Media Ltd. Before that, Martin held a number of Business Affairs positions in ITV, starting at Central Independent Television PLC and through a number of corporate changes, culminating in the role of Commercial Director, Content, at Carlton TV.

Martin is a Trustee of the Channel 4 Television Corporation DB Pension Scheme, and a Non-Executive Director of the British Independent Film Awards CIC.
