The Last Musician of Auschwitz Wins at the 2026 BANFF Rockie Awards

We are pleased to share that The Last Musician of Auschwitz has won the Documentary & Factual – Arts & Culture category at the 2026 BANFF Rockie Awards.

The Rockie Awards, presented as part of the BANFF World Media Festival, celebrate excellence in screen and audio content from around the world. This year, the awards featured 151 nominated programmes from 45 countries across 29 categories.

Produced by Two Rivers Media in partnership with Access Entertainment for the BBC, The Last Musician of Auschwitz was recognised in the Arts & Culture category within the Documentary & Factual stream.

We would like to thank BANFF and the Rockie Awards jury for this recognition, and congratulate everyone involved in the production of the film.
